Brian has practiced as a CPA for more than 22 years. Brian serves his clients as a CPA, as well as a Registered Investment Advisor. Brian has been a Partner and Vice President of Rutherford & Johnson, P.C. since 2008, and has served as a managing member of R & J Financial Partners, LLC since its founding in 2014.

Licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Certified Public Accountant since 2001, Brian is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of CPAs. He is also a Registered Investment Advisor, and has been designated as a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) by the AICPA, which is indicative of his experience and knowledge in comprehensive financial planning and wealth management.

Brian resides in Winchester with his wife, Cindy and their seven children. He is a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and the Kiwanis Club of Old Town, and he also serves as Treasurer and on the Board of New Eve Maternity Home.
